Welcome
to Buy American And America Works
This site is dedicated informing citizens of all races,
religions, sexual orientations, and creed to the effects
of outsourcing and jeopardizing the main core of the
American lifestyle.
NOT
Your Grandparents America
Gone are the days of retirement from one company and/or
having any decent medical coverage. Just check your
current medical coverage and see what they actually
cover - a $5,000/year deductible is the norm; what the
hell? What would happen if you fell off a roof without
a credit card capable of handling the deductible?
It's
Ok, Keep Your Foreign Made Products
We are NOT asking you nor suggesting
that you surrender your favorite overseas brand or pay
more for a product just because it is made in America.
What we are suggesting is that you first consider the
products created in the land in which you reside. If
you live in Egypt, then consider the purchase of an
Egyptian brand FIRST before any overseas products. This
gives your country a chance at surviving the third-world
syndrome that has come to include the United States
of America.
Slim
Pickings On Medical
With rising unemployment, NO medical
coverage for most, lower cost of living, reduced world-wide
dollar value, etc. Ladies and gentlemen, the solution
is simple; Buy American And America Works. Most are
only asking that the main driving forces of America
have a fair chance at the market. This is not going
to happen on its own. You need to consider the products
and services that you purchase noting if these products
support the American economy. Together, we will make
the "Made in America" slogan actually mean
something once again. Those in the know, during the
2nd World War, know exactly what I mean.
Myth About American Cars vs Imports
An American car is just that, a car.
But there is a big difference in quality when compared
to cars built overseas. Once, as a Ford salesman, the
following is the most typical example that I hear in
person and all over the internet. The person owns two
vehicles, a Ford Taurus and a Mercedes Benz for the
wife. He complains that the doors on the Taurus do not
sound nearly as solid as the doors on his Mercedes.
He further complains that the quality of the Taurus
just isn't there compared to the Mercedes. He also went
on to say that the resale value of his Taurus is far
less than that of his Mercedes and that this Mercedes
far outperforms the Taurus in cornering and outright
speed. While these are all legitimate complaints. I
explained to him that had I paid $70,000 for that Taurus,
the doors better sound like a bank vault every time
I slam them shut. I also explained the the Taurus would
be a much better performer and that the resale value
better be much more than the ~$14,000 I've paid for
that Taurus if I had paid $70,000. What was Ford thinking
of when they decided to sell a ~$14,000 vehicle that
is supposed to compete with a $70,000 Mercedes. The
guy said that he somehow didn't think that was Ford's
intention; hummm, I wonder how did he come up with such
a brilliant observation. Truth be told, vehicles are
about the same given they are compared within the same
price range. I owned a 1991 Explorer that managed 489k
miles with all original parts before it was sold. It
was driven like a light-truck the way it was designed
to be. If you want a race car, buy a race car and not
a minivan. Drive a minivan like a minivan and a race
car like a race car and they will last for eons. You
support outsourcing when you do not give your home team
a chance.
Do
NOT compare the latest Hyundai with your Pinto and then
complain that the Hyundai is a better vehicle with better
gas mileage. Oh, did I mention that you can absolutely
count on the news media for bad made-in-America publicity?
Yes, they always say that in order to get a hybrid vehicle
you need to go to Japan. Hummm, Ford has a hybrid SUV;
GM had an all-electric electric car that outperformed
most gasoline models. The news media also only show
American brands of SUVs and trucks when they mention
the term "gas guzzler". What do Toyota SUVs
run on, water? Kewl! The Toyota may get 'slightly' better
gas mileage but that is at the cost of protection. You
know that one is better off in a heavier vehicle, PERIOD!
Don't believe me, try this. Ride your bicycle and get
into a fender bender. That won't be as much fun without
fenders. That is after the fire department pull your
remains from out of that tree. You see, it is like ping-pong
balls. The heaver mass is safer; PERIOD. If the government
regulates the weight of my SUV, I will buy a commercial
truck and make it into a hybrid. E-mail (spam) your
news agency each and every time that they mention anything
contrary to made-in-America. If they mention that a
company in America does not pay attention to the customers,
tell the news agency to write to that company and we
will do same.
Lots
of Regs; But Important Regs
American companies suffer from stiff
government regulations (regs) to make sure that their
products are as safe as possible. Companies in America
have severe restrictions on environmental emissions
and minimum union salary requirements. Companies move
to Mexico to avoid these restrictions; however, the
ecosystem is as connected as a spider's web; and what
a tangled web we weave. Nevertheless, higher wages support
the American economy and way of life and so America
can help the world. Yes, it is expensive to do business
in America and therefore, we lose all jobs that do not
require one to be a medical doctor and even that will
be in jeopardy in the near years to come. If companies
don't pay a decent wage; we will not be able to purchase
anything created in this country; the chain stops...no
college for our children, dumb and dumber for everyone.
The feeling is crazy when you consider the all-American
jeans company (name not mentioned) moving overseas.
Did you know that the rest of the world sees the whole
concept of jeans because they are American? [Click
